So, I launched the new blog. Then, that same week I got a kick-ass job. Then, I started my job and went to Chicago and got sick. And I came back…really sick…
And here we are (still really sick).
LAME.
There’s never a good excuse, you know? There are always excuses and if I had to rate mine I’d say they’re damn close to good, but are they REALLY GOOD? Nah. I haven’t kept up my end of the bargain. And you know what happens when someone doesn’t keep up their end of a bargain? They get punished.
So, as punishment…I’m letting you guys listen to me sing. I haven’t sung for anyone in a loooong time, but when I got a request from the lovely Katie Wall, a fellow singer, to hear my vocal stylings, well, I made it happen.
If you’re a musician of any sort you get that there’s a weird dichotomy of feelings around playing/singing for people. While you’re proud of your craft and talent, on some level you feel weird about backing that talent by actually playing/singing for people. Okay, maybe that’s just me? Maybe it’s because I fell out of the singing world dramatically and quickly and I haven’t been in it for quite some time.
I make no assertions about the state of my voice, I just sing. Enjoy (hopefully).

Your voice sounds like a mix of Fergie and Jesus! Haha – seriously T, beautiful voice, don’t be afraid to show that off more often. Hope you get to feeling better soon! We need to catch up
Wowza! Talk about “angels singing”! I know you just started it, but perhaps you *should* quit your day job, Tee. (And get well soon, for crying out loud.)
Congrats on the new gig, and sorry you were a bit under the weather!
Your voice sounds awesome to me, but what would I know. I’m not allowed to sing to myself in the shower. It hurts my own ears.
Keep belting the tunes amiga!
